Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you engage Limb-It Tree Co for arborist services. They sit alongside any written quote you accept from us — the quote takes precedence where there's a conflict.

Quotes

All quotes are free and valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Quotes are based on the information you provide and a reasonable on-site assessment. If conditions on the day differ materially (additional trees, hidden hazards, restricted access), we'll discuss any variation with you before proceeding.

Bookings & payment

Confirmed bookings are scheduled subject to weather and safety conditions. Payment is due on completion of work unless other terms are agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer and card payments.

Site access & preparation

You're responsible for providing safe access to the work area, securing pets, and notifying neighbours where appropriate. Let us know about underground services, septic lines, irrigation or anything else we should know about before we start.

Permits & approvals

Some tree works in the Yarra Ranges, Cardinia, Baw Baw and Murrindindi shires require council approval or arborist reports. You're responsible for obtaining approvals unless we've expressly agreed to handle them for you.

Insurance & liability

We carry $20m public liability insurance. We take all reasonable care, but we accept no liability for pre-existing structural defects, underground services not disclosed to us, or for incidental damage to lawns from equipment when the only viable access requires it (we'll always discuss this with you first).

Guarantee

We stand behind our workmanship. If something's not right with work we've completed, contact us within 14 days and we'll make it right.
