How much does tree removal cost in the Yarra Valley?
It depends on three things: the size of the tree, the access to it, and what we have to protect around it. A small backyard removal might land between $400–$900. A large eucalypt with limited access and structures nearby can run into the thousands. We give you a fixed, written quote, not an hourly “it depends”.
Do I need a council permit to remove a tree?
In the Yarra Ranges, Cardinia, Baw Baw and Murrindindi shires there are vegetation protection overlays on a lot of properties. Some trees need a permit, some don't. It depends on species, size, and where it sits on the block. We'll tell you straight up at the quote whether you need one, and we can write the arborist report if you do.
Are you insured, and what level of cover?
Yes. $20m public liability, plus workers' comp and tools. Happy to send the Certificate of Currency before we start, and if you're a property manager or builder we can have it on file.
Can you respond to storm damage or emergencies?
If a tree's down on the house or blocking a driveway, call us straight away on 0467 604 956. We prioritise local emergency callouts and have the rigging and saw kit to handle anything from leaners over the roof to whole trees across the road.
Will you clean up after the job?
Yes, every time. Full cleanup is part of the quote. We chip everything on site, rake the lawn, and leave the area tidier than we found it. If you want the mulch left for your garden beds, just say so when we quote.
